Current Threats to the Financial Security of the Russian Federation and their Impact on the Development of Treasury Services Market

The purpose of this article is to identify and classify current threats to the financial security of the Russian Federation and to reveal the role of the Russian Treasury in the process of public finance management. Against the background of noted quantitative and qualitative growth of financial security threats, the researcher points out the high adaptive abilities of the Federal Treasury and the adequacy of its law enforcement activities to modern socio-economic realities.
The paper substantiates the need to introduce information and digital technologies and AI into the process of public finance management and financial control, which can enhance financial discipline, transparency in the use of budget funds, and their accessibility for Russian economic entities.
In achieving the research objective, the author used systematic and evidence-based approaches, as well as retrospective, functional, and comparative analyses, deduction, and induction.
The scientific novelty of the work lies in clarifying the concept of “financial security” and the object of its protection, as well as in identifying key trends in the transformation of the domestic treasury services market under conditions of increased economic turbulence and unprecedented external pressure.
