Management Practices of Attorneys on the Example of the Functioning of the Commission on Youth Policy

The Advocacy operates on the basis of the principles of self-government and independence. The effectiveness of the implementation of these principles depends on the quality of management decisions made in the legal profession. The relevance of the research topic is due to the insufficient degree of knowledge of managerial decision-making in the legal profession. The study used the results of a survey of 394 lawyers and employees of law schools in the Novosibirsk region, as well as an expert interview with the Chairman of the Commission on Youth Policy. The article describes the specifics of management practices inherent in the legal profession, and concludes that there are transformations of management methods on the example of cross-regional debates of young lawyers. Based on theoretical approaches, it is proved that collective discussions preceding the adoption of managerial decisions contribute to improving the quality of decisions made. Based on the data obtained, it is concluded that the introduction of non-standard decision-making methods, such as the participation of the Youth policy commission in managerial decision-making, allows the bar to adapt to changes and improve the quality of decisions.
