Abstract
Currently, as an optimal way for the sustainable development of the electric power industry, as part of the implementation of the fourth energy transition, the scientific and practical community is considering the economically feasible modernization of production facilities, taking into account the balance of the factors of the Energy trilemma. The article presents the author's view on the need to apply a complementary path to sustainable development: training high-quality labor resources through fostering a culture of lean thinking and energy-saving behavior among citizens, starting in childhood. The practical experience of implementing the "Lean Holidays" project in an electric power company is presented (using the example of JSC Grid Company, Republic of Tatarstan). As part of the project, a system of educational activities for school-age children and adolescents has been developed based on the application of an integrated approach to the study of lean manufacturing and the concept of ESG management; the use of a game method for studying the processes of technological connection and power supply to consumers; education of creative civil and patriotic behavior of the younger generation.
