Scientific and Technological Development in Order to Ensure the Technological Sovereignty of the Country

The state of scientific and technological development of the country determines the protection of its national interests from external threats, and therefore, the purpose of the work is to analyze the main indicators characterizing the scientific potential of Russia. The analysis of statistical data on the scientific and technological development of the country in recent years has revealed a number of features inherent in Russia: the basis of the scientific sector consists of independent research organizations, separate from production and education; insufficiently developed "branded" science; The raw materials sector is one of the main customers of innovative developments. As a result of the work done, the negative dynamics of a decrease in human resources in scientific and technological development and the still existing reserve in certain areas of science and technological developments have been revealed. In this regard, it is proposed to form a system of interconnected entities that ensure interaction with representatives of government, business and the scientific community.
