Quantitative Analysis of Nordic Exports
Abstract
The purpose of the article is to identify the areas of foreign trade of Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden, where progress was observed for further study of the applied mechanisms of state support for exports. As part of the article, export statistics for four countries over the past 40 years were collected and analyzed. Export is considered in different dimensions: the general dynamics of export, commodity and geographical structure. A feature of the study is tracking changes in the structure of trade over 30- 40 years for different countries. The article also separately considers the mutual trade of the Nordic countries and calculates paired indices of trade intensity.
