Models of Management of Physical Culture and Sports in the Country and in the Metropolis

Abstract

The relevance of this study is due to the active development of physical culture and sports in Russia, which requires the search and consideration of the most effective management methods both at the national level and in regions and large cities. The purpose of this article is to consider management models in the field of physical culture in the country as a whole, as well as in megacities. The study shows that the key issues of management in this area is the role of the state, while special importance in the scientific literature is given to the problems of the relationship between the state and private business. As a result of the analysis, it was revealed that private capital is actively involved in the implementation of projects to create sports infrastructure in megacities in which projects have high profitability. The chosen model of management of the sphere of physical culture and sports in general is important to consider both at the national and urban levels, since in addition to a significant contribution to the health and quality of life of the population, the development of the sports industry makes a significant contribution to the economy, including by increasing the prestige of the country or metropolis.
