Author Guidelines
- The journal accepts only previously unpublished original materials in Russian – scientific (practical) articles and reviews that correspond to the journal's subject matter.
Please note that the journal publishes articles by researchers, academic staff, doctoral candidates, applicants, and postgraduate students, as well as independent experts. Publication of articles co-authored with students is not permitted.
- Main requirements for content of author's materials
Scientific (practical) article. The introductory part should justify the relevance of the topic and the rationale for its development (solving a scientific problem or task), and state the research objective. The main part should present research results through analysis and synthesis of information, describe methods and outcomes, outline tasks and their solutions, provide necessary descriptions, explanations, evidence, and обоснования. The concluding part should summarize the work, formulate conclusions, provide recommendations, and suggest possible directions for further research.
General requirements. The article must be formatted strictly according to the requirements outlined below and thoroughly proofread by the author. All quotes and references to sources and literature must be verified.

- Information about authors, compilers, and other contributors:
- Full name(s) of author(s)
- Academic degree, title, position or profession, place of employment (or study for postgraduate students and doctoral candidates) with postal address including index; email addresses
- Author identifiers: ORCID, Scopus ID, Research ID, SPIN
- Maximum number of co-authors per article: 4
- Abstract (no more than 1800 characters with spaces) should include:
- Rationale for the topic's relevance
- Research objectives and goals
- Description of scientific and practical significance
- Main results and conclusions of the research
- Value of the study, indicating scientific novelty
The abstract should not repeat the article's text or its title
It should contain essential facts of the work and not include material absent from the article
- Six to seven keywords
- Acknowledgments (e.g., information about financial support)
- Article title, author's name, affiliation, abstract, and keywords in English
- Article text. It is recommended to format the article according to the international standard for scientific articles (IMRAD):
- Introduction (brief description of relevance, problem statement, literature review)
- Materials and methods (description of specific research methods or methodology, materials)
- Results/Main part (analysis)
- Conclusions (main findings, practical significance of the research, and directions for future studies)
- References (bibliography) at the end of the material (Literature section). The author is responsible for the accuracy of citations and references to official documents and other sources.
Submitted articles undergo peer review according to the Regulation on Peer Review of Scientific Articles and are then considered by the Editorial Board. Based on the review, the Editorial Board may recommend that the author revise the article. Accepted articles with reviewer's and editorial comments are sent to the author. After revisions, the author submits one hard copy of the article and an electronic version to the journal's editorial office.
The editorial board reserves the right not to consider articles that do not comply with the above requirements.
The decision to publish or reject materials is made by the Editorial Board. Materials will not be returned.
Note. When subsequently publishing materials in other editions, the author must cite the primary publication in the journal «The Review of Economy, the Law and Sociology» (year, issue, pages, DOI).
- Requirements for the author's original manuscript
Author's originals must be prepared using Microsoft Word (.doc files). The minimum text volume should not be less than 6 pages (11,000 characters with spaces) and not more than 22 pages (40,000 characters with spaces) of A4 format, printed with 1.5 line spacing. Page margins should be: left – 25 mm, right, top, and bottom – 20 mm, paragraph indentation – 0.8 cm (3 spaces). The main text should be set in Times New Roman, font size 14, justified alignment. Hyphenation is not allowed.
Formulas and letter designations in the text
Formulas should be typed using Microsoft Equation editor. Latin letters should be italicized, Greek and Cyrillic letters should be in regular font, matrix and vector designations should be in bold. Formulas should be centered on the page. Formula numbers should be placed on the right margin. Only those formulas that are referenced in the text should be numbered. When choosing physical units, it is recommended to follow the International System of Units (SI).
Figures and tables
The text must contain references to all presented figures and tables. Each figure or table must have a data source or indicate "compiled by the author(s)". Tables and figures should be placed within the text. It is mandatory to indicate the number and title of each table or figure. Table text should be set in 13 pt font, with bold headings. Figures can be inserted into the text using editors that are fully compatible with Word. Embedded illustrations should be provided as separate files (.bmp, .jpeg, .tiff) with figure numbers and article titles.
References
The list of references should be formatted according to GOST 7.0.5–2008 «System of standards for information, library, and publishing. Bibliographic reference. General requirements and rules of compilation» and should be placed at the end of the article in the order of citation. Only sources referenced in the article should be included in the list. In-text citations should be given in square brackets with the source number in the list and page number(s) of the cited quote (e.g., [1], [1, p. 5]).
When using electronic resources or online sources, the reference list should include bibliographic records and links to online resources with full web addresses. The date of access to the resource must also be indicated.
The editorial board does not recommend using AI tools for literature selection. Detection of generated elements, including unverifiable sources, may result in the article being withdrawn from consideration or retracted after publication.
- Submission of materials to the editorial board
- The article text must be submitted to the editorial board in electronic format (via email).
- The first page of the submitted article must be signed by the author(s) and include a statement confirming that the article is original and has not been published elsewhere.
- The following information about each author must be provided on a separate sheet (only for the author's first submission to the journal):
- Full name (surname, first name, patronymic);
- Academic degree and title;
- Place of employment, position, organizational address;
- Specialization (code and name according to the VAK classification);
- Contact details (office and home phone numbers, email address);
- Mailing address with postal code;
- The form must be signed by the author(s).
- Electronic version of the author's photo(s) on a light background.
- Certified review confirming the possibility of publication (required for authors without academic degrees).
Note. When submitting a printed copy of the manuscript by mail, an electronic version of the material must also be provided via the journal's email.
Important. Articles will not be considered or published by the editorial board if the author has not agreed to the publication rules or if the submission does not comply with these guidelines. Files that do not meet the specified requirements will not be reviewed.
