Abstract

The relevance of the research topic is due to the fact that the main state exam (MSE) in social studies is currently one of the key subjects for the social and humanitarian profile of education, and new methods and forms of tutoring in this subject are in great demand. The topic of the article is the study of the prospects of a special form of tutoring when teaching online in preparation for the main state exam (MSE): large class, a form of teaching that involves a large number of students studying online simultaneously using the «inverted class» system. The author's purpose is to study the effectiveness of this system in preparation for the MSE in social studies and to find out how promising this method is. The author applies the method of sociological survey, as well as the experience of the participating observation. As the results of the study have shown, such a form of online learning as large classes is a truly effective learning tool and helps to increase the level of knowledge of students.
