On the Issue of the Role of Legal Protection of Municipalities

Protection of the rights of municipalities that own property plays an important role at the municipal level of government due to the fact that, for example, when disposing of property, various legal disputes may arise regarding their rental or sale. The purpose of the study is to determine the purpose of using municipal property based on the identified criteria. The objectives of the study include an analysis of the norms of Russian legislation related to the protection of the rights of municipalities and the identification of a number of key problems on the issue considered by the author.

The practical significance of the study lies in the fact that with the help of protecting the rights of municipalities, in practice it is possible to effectively resolve legal disputes, including with the help of proposals outlined by the author.

The main results of the study are the identification of possible solutions and the introduction of some proposals for improving Russian legislation at the municipal level of government.
