The Effectiveness of the Benefits System for Large Families: a Sociological Analysis

Abstract
As a result of the growth of natural population decline in Russia, the issue of increasing the birth rate and developing effective measures to create more large families is acute. The dynamics of measures to support large families in Russia is analyzed. The article presents the results of a sociological study aimed at analyzing the image of large families among the youth of the Tver region. The results of this study will help to form the most effective policy of measures to increase the birth rate and create large families among young people. A sufficient degree of awareness about the existing benefits for large families has been revealed. The main benefits that could encourage young people to create their own large family are preferential mortgages, allocation of free land, and tax cuts. The measures proposed by the respondents to introduce additional measures for the development of large families in Russia have been identified.
