Legal Aspects of Medical Intervention Research Directions

In the current Russian legislation, there are no provisions that determine the procedure for performing research-oriented medical interventions. This can serve as a deterrent to the development and implementation of new medical technologies. At the same time, this is not about clinical trials of drugs or of medical devices, but about obtaining new knowledge about the etiology and pathogenesis of diseases, safe and effective methods of prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. The article analyzes the directions for improving legislation in the field of health protection in the field of medical interventions of a research nature.
